Sample (thanks omhper!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is dried fruity, liquorice, some floral, some alcohol. Flavour is liquorice, some toffee, alcohol, vanilla and quite sharp in the sweetness. Warming. Not really my thing. Not even the vanilla makes it smooth in any way.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is toffee, some liquorice, some floral, dried fruits and mild roasted tones. Flavour is liquorice, some toffee, mild wooden tones and some mild toffee and herbal tones. Slightly alcoholic too with a wee bit soy sauce.

--Canned, from Systembolaget. -- Black, small head. Aroma of chocolate, licorice and bell pepper. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Salty chocolate, some bel pepper and coffee. Warming mid bitter finish. Reckon the ancho is back there, giving it just a touch of mild warmth and smokey bell pepper.

--Canned, from Systembolaget. -- Black, small head. Aroma of cocoa and bourbon vanilla. Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Dark chocolate, bourbon vanilla and coffee. Warming mid bitter finish.

--Canned, from Systembolaget. -- Black, minimal head. Aroma of chocolate sauce and vanilla. Mid sweet with medium to full body and clean mouthfeel. Apples with custard and chocolate. Mid bitter finish. Interesting how the adjuncts has sharpened the beer, giving it metallic edges. Guess cocoa nibs and vanilla can destroy just about any beer.

--Canned from Systembolaget. -- Black, small head. Aroma of eukalyptus, treacle, tequila and chocolate. Mid sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate and caramel under licorice and tequila. Warming mid bitter finish.
