Description

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and quickly collapsing foamy head. Grainy and slightly buttery malty aroma with flowery and delicately spicy hops. Moderately sweet and shy bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Strawy and mildly grainy malt character with doughy and slightly buttery spots; moderately sweet and restrained bitter hoppy finish. 30.VII.18

€-Flascherl: Golden, a bit unclear, small but only slowly collapsing white foamy layer; robust sweetish grainy-strawy nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, crunchy MF; shorter moderate sweetish-grainy finish with a mild and slightly increasing bitterness towards the very end. Nothing special, just a well crafted, archetypal Bavarian Helles...

50cl bottle. A murky orange brown beer with a huge most good lasting beige head. Aroma of overriped banana, sweet fruits, wheat. Taste of caramelish strong wheat malt, riped banana, not too sweet, okay!

Hazy golden with medium white head. Aroma is yeasts, flour, slight fruits and freshly baked madeleines. Taste is smooth sourness and malty sweetness, that is somehow watery and also has something of dish washing water, which sounds worse than it actually is. Full body, no texture. Alright.

Grassy hops and some well cooked noodles with powdered sugar. Taste is buttery with lime sourness, some slight malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Low carbonation, thin body, watery actually but not bad, medium finish. Ok.

0.5 l bottle, best before January 2017, courtesy of Koelschtrinker, thanks Roman! Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, quite grassy-spicy aroma of caramel, straw and grains. Quite sweet, malty and moderately grassy-spicy taste of caramel, some honey, straw, grains and hints of butter, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately grassy-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
