Pours hazy like a NEIPA, although the can states it's just a double IPA with Indian cane sugar. It also says it's quintuple dry-hopped but I wouldn't say much comes through apart because of the sweetness in the aroma. The initial flavour is also very sweet and it goes through to the aftertaste. A very heavy beer, heavy mouthfeel, and alcoholy. Too surypy for my taste. Some mango and pineapple. Medium-low carbonation.
Orange gold pour. Thin foam. Fruit nose. Oak, nut, sour mango taste. Nice nutty palate.

16 ounce can - what kind of evil motherfucker packages something like this in a one pint can? - anyway, I didn’t realize how strong this was when I bought it, so I probably shouldn’t have had another beer before I opened it - this pours viscous black with a dark tan lace - nose has a fair amount of fusel alcohol but also smoke, leather, black cherry, chocolate - it’s sweet, but not cloyingly so as you might expect - a lot of smoke and dark malt bitterness to balance (like A LOT of smoke) - savory umami character, which might make this a divisive beer, as many view this character in such a beer as tasting like “soy sauce” (I do not) - some chocolate and subtle lactose sweetness before a mildly acidic and coffee-like finish - the nose is less inviting than the flavor, but it’s quite good for something so strong.

16 ounce can from Cellars Neenah, 3/3/20. Murky orange with floating particles. I guess that's the sacramental bread. I hope its consecrated. Has my beer been transubstaniated? Large frothy white head, good retention. Aroma of bread (shocking), crackery pale malt, resin, dank, melon, earth, a bit of booze. Taste is melon, tangerine, mango, grapefruit, pale bready malt, some white sugar, booze. Medium bodied, well balanced, a bit hot. My first beer from this trendy brewery. Not bad for a beer over $6 for a single.

14 December 2019. At 2nd Great Timternational Beer Tasting. Cheers to Ghent beer crew! Hazy yellow, slowly diminishing, frothy, white head. Aroma of peach, nectarine, lychee, tangerine, yoghurt, lime, faint pine, onion. Taste has sweet peach & tangerine, sourish lime, bitter pine, grapefruit peel & mandarin rind with bready-doughy maltiness. Dryish, floral hoppy finish, piney, more yellow fruit, a tad more dank, with warming liqueurish alcohol. Medium body, oily-creamy texture, soft carbonation. Very good brew, bit 'heavier' to drink.

Draught @ Ginger Man NYC (2/5/20). Extremely hazy dark yellow, looks like apricot juice, foamy light beige head, very faint apricot aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter apricot-mango taste with strong alcohol undertones, full body, long finish with alcohol aftertaste. The high alcohol content escapes the flavor.

16oz can pours out rusty straw topped with a white head. Nose is a nice mix of berries tartness and a salty brine note. Taste is more of the nice sweet berries tart notes and a brine.
