16 ounce can into snifter, canned on 6/6/2019. Pours dense pitch black color with a small fairly dense and fluffy tan head with solid retention, that reduces to a thin ring of lace. Minimal spotty lacing on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, coconut, roasted almonds, vanilla, cream, fudge, toasted biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of licorice, raisin, prune, cherry, fig, date, smoke, char, leather, wood, tobacco, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Slight booze in the aromas as it warns, but not overwhelming. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/black/roast/bready malts, cocoa, coconut, almond, lactose, vanilla, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with big strength. Taste of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, coconut, roasted almonds, vanilla, cream, fudge, toasted biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of licorice, raisin, prune, cherry, fig, date, smoke, char, leather, wood, tobacco, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Mild herbal, grass, wood, pepper, roast, charred bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, coconut, roasted almonds, vanilla, cream, fudge, toasted biscuit, dark bread/crust, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, char, leather, wood, tobacco, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/black/roast/bready malts, cocoa, coconut, almond, lactose, vanilla, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a nice roast/hop bitter/sweet balance; and no cloying, acrid, astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/roast bitterness and alcohol spiciness. Light-medium carbonation and extremely full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/velvety/bready, and lightly slick/sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Mild increasing warmth of 15.1%, with minimal booze lingering after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic flavored imperial stout. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/black/roast/bready malts, cocoa, coconut, almond, lactose, vanilla, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the huge ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish; fantastic soft feel for the ABV. Amazing balance of super rich malts, coconut, cocoa, almond, lactose, and vanilla flavorings; with mild earthy hops and fruity yeast. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example for the huge ABV. You would never be able to guess the ABV.

Pours a very hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Overall this is an amazing NEDIPA! All around amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the big ABV, with the mellowly bitter/drying finish; fantastic soft feel. Amazing Mosaic, Citra profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing spot on style example. Loved the hop profile as expected.

Sampled from a can this beer poured oily and black with a small soapy very dark brown head. The aroma was dough, sharp whiskey, coconut, and vanilla. The flavor was strong chocolate, vanilla, toasted coconut, red wine and oatmeal. Long finish. Thick, smooth and undercarbonated. Not as boozy as one might expect for 15%.

16oz can from CBC H Street pours a pulpy orange with a ring of white head. Nose is OK, a bit sweet, melon sorbet, vanilla, orange popsicle. Flavor has some bitterness and some herbal notes, tannins now, more melon and mango and popsicle. Finishes full bodied. Lacks some luster. 7 3 7 3 12

Absolutely incredible sour. Draft pour to a tulip at Hop and Hound. Glowing reddish pink pour. Thin fizz head. Full of juicy red berry flavor. I'd say two thirds sour and one third sweet, do very close to perfect on that level. Red raspberry aroma. So much red and blue berry taste going on. Wonderfully sour. Love this brew.
