Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is toffee, wood, some wooden and nutty tones. Flavour is toffee, toasted, mild smoked and some meaty tones.

16 ounce can from brewery. Number one with a bullet. Clear, brassy gold pour. Fluffy white head. Grainy malt aroma. Flavor is sweet, bready malt. Notes of honey and herbal hops. Nice flavor and balance. A bit sweet, but tasty, nonetheless.

On tap at KEG Budapest. Dark golden coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, fruity and light alcohol in the nose. Sweet malty, candy, caramel, citrusy and light noticable alcohol with sweet finish. Not the freshest one.

12 ounce can from brewery. Pale gold pour. Large, frothy white head leaves spotty lacing. Light grainy malt nose hints at lime. Flavor is more of the same. Light grain, lime zest and light minerality. A bit thin for my liking.

12 ounce can from brewery. Number one with a bullet. Copper colored pour is topped by a frothy beige. Subtle toasted malt aroma hints at toffee and rustic bread. Flavor has notes of toasted malt, mild grapefruit from the Cascade hops and a bit of spiciness and pine from the Chinook hops. Excellent balance and flavor throughout.

16 ounce can from brewery. Number one with a bullet. Hazy orange gold color. Large, dense white head leaves staggered lacing. Subtle biscuit malt aroma hints at citrus and passion fruit. Flavor has notes of peach, orange and guava. Smooth , creamy palate. A bit of orange peel in finish. Tasty.

Draught @ Midland Brew House, Saddlebrook NJ. Hazy dark yellow-orange with frothy off-white head, orange peel aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter orange peel taste with alcohol undertones, thin body, long bitter finish. Decent DIPA.

12 ounce can from brewery. Number one with a bullet. Bright yellow gold color. Pillowy white head. Grainy malt aroma has grassy notes. Flavor is sweet, earthy malt with notes of lemon zest, honey and red berries. Some herbal notes as well. Clean and crisp. Brief dry finish.

12 ounce can from brewery. Number one with a bullet. Brassy gold pour. Pillowy beige head. Bready malt nose has earthy, noble hop notes. Flavor is sweeet, bready malt, herbal, floral hops and and hint of honey. Remarkably smooth like a cool Munich evening at the Biergarten.

Draft at brewery. Number one with a bullet. Hazy yellow gold pour. Small, creamy white head. Earthy, bready malt nose. Flavor is is light, biscuity malt and fresh citrus. Great balance and flavor. Some peppery hops on backend. The crew at Icarus is really upping their lager game and I’m loving it!
