16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Dark brown pour. Massive rocky tan head leaves spotty lacing. Subtle roasted malt aroma hints at chocolate, charred wood and baked bread. Bittersweet roasted malt flavor has earthy, spicy, resiny notes. Think pine, grapefruit and bitter orange. Finish is bitter and roasty with notes of tobacco.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Hazy honey gold pour. Frothy beige head leaves a nice lacing. Bready malt nose has a hint of sulfur. Sweet malty flavor upfront. Some breadiness along with a hint of vanilla and lemon zest. Middle brings notes of lime and mandarin orange. Finishes dry with a hint of pine.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Hazy orange gold color. Bubbly white head dissipates rather quickly. Some spotty lacing. Sharp citrus aroma hints at orange and limeade. Biscuity malt base is balanced by a grassy, herbal hop confluence. Notes of orange, lime and passion fruit. Slightly sticky mouthfeel. Some piney hops in finish.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Rocky tan head. Clinging lace. Subtle toasted malt aroma hints at licorice. First sip is dark malt, bittersweet chocolate and molasses. A hint of vanilla and dark coffee. Resiny bitterness in finish. Nicely done.

Beer without beards: pours slightly reddish gold with a white head. Aroma is cherry and funkiness. Taste is slightly sour, some cherry, lactic.

16 ounce can neatly tucked away on a shelf at Wine Anthology in Clark, NJ. Mahogany brown pour is topped by a massive foamy tan head. Smoky roasted malt nose. Flavor follows nose. Big smoked malt prescence. Roasted malt notes are more in line with a Bavarian Dunkel than an American Stout. Charred wood notes. Sweet earthy malt finish.

16 ounce can. Number one with a BullettBullet. Translucent mahogany brown color. Bubbly tan head. Toasted malt nose. Herbal hop notes. First sip is dry, dark malt, spicy hops and notes of tobacco. Complex and flavorful with winey, earthy nuances.
