Keg at CBC Clerkenwell, London during the Pizza Port tap takeover. Pours clear, amber-gold with a light, tan froth head. Bready malt nose, some berries, mild leaves. Medium sweet flavor with light dry caramel, dry bread, soft berries, mellow orange. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately sweet finish, lightly sticky, with further dry caramel, toffee, light bread. Really nice beer. Good balance. Wonderfule character for a 4%er.

On tap at Craft Beer Co. Clerkenwell, pours a dark amber with a small tan head. Aroma of dry caramel malts, and mild, restrained floral hops. Flavour brings out dry caramel malt, pungent floral hops and some more toffee-ish malts. ABV is well-hidden. Mouthfeel is very full, very dry -- full of dry caramel malts. Highly drinkable, while still being fairly full-bodied for the style. Very good stuff.

On tap. Pours with a clear amber body with a minimal white head. Aromas are hoppy, tea, caramel, esters, grainy. Pretty clean. Flavors are hoppy, floral, citrus, orange, grapefruit and a bit tea like. Floral honey aroma. Finishes very dry. Medium bubbles. Seems noticeably more hoppy than the old Chronic (especially on the aroma).
