Sample at The Ohio Taproom. Slightly cloudy copper-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, fruit and hops. Medium to full body with flavors of earthy malt, citrusy hops and caramel. The finish is malty up front with a mildly hopped aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the Grandview Summer Session on 08/22/2015. The beer pours a pale orange color with a medium thin white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet grapefruit, wheat and bready malt. The finish is fruity with a lingering citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.

Aroma of yeast, hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly spicy hops, yeast, fruit and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the taproom. Black pour with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and coffee. Medium-bodied with flavors of smoked malt, dark chocolate and coffee. The finish is charred malt and coffee, with a bit of hops in the aftertaste. Decent overall.

Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of grapefruit, piney hops and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
