Flounder Brewing Company is a nanobrewery in Hillsborough in Somerset County, New Jersey. Started by Jeremy Lees as a homebrewing hobby, it grew to encompass other members of the family including his brothers, Daniel and Michael, and his cousin William.

On tap at brewery. Number one with a bullet. Bright honey gold color. Small creamy white head. Sweet yeasty malt flavor upfront. Notes of honey and bubblegum. More malt body in middle, with tangy undertones. Dry, spicy hop finish is subdued.

On tap at brewery. Number one with a bullet. Bright, brassy gold color. Small white head is gone in a flash. Rich, spicy, honeyish malt flavor upfront. Intense bittersweet, spicy middle hints at coriander and white peppercorns. Cloying sweet, sticky finish. Notes of warming alcohol. Spice is a bit overdone.

On tap at brewery. Cloudy orange gold color topped by a small creamy beige head. Fragrant, tropical citrus hop nose. First sip is toasted malt and juicy citrus hops. Light caramel malt notes are balanced by a distinctive tropical fruit character. Some hop stickiness in finish, though it is not overwhelming. A solid juicy IPA.
