Small beige head. Nearly opaque black body goes dark brown at edges. Sugary roasty licorice aroma with earthy notes. Dry-sweetish earthy sugary licorice taste with watery notes. Mid-bodied. Too sweet, without enough balancing bitterness. Dryish watery earthy licorice aftertaste with roasty notes. Not bad, but unbalanced and tasteless. (0.5l bottle, Suliko, St. Petersburg.)

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. A bit darker than exspected, nice head. Starts strong, modest yeasty, quite malty. Shows fruity notes of apricot. Finish strong but well balanced. Good!

The bottle looks very simple and a bit boring. The beer in the glass is light, not very turbid. Starts very mild, modest dry and metallically. Also a bit hoppy-woody. Finish still mild. Not my favourite.

Bottle, 4.9%. Clear yellow colour. Nice stable chalk white head. Medium bitterness, perhaps a little lower than medium. Faint aroma hop note, hay and mild grass. A subtle beer, but not bad.

Bottle. Strong clove, orange juice, banana, and wheat malt aroma. Hazy yellow-tan color with moderate head. Tastes like orange juice that has just started to ferment and wheat malt. Clove and white pepper finish. Different - I’m not a big fan of the taste.

Bottle. Sweet white grape and malt aroma. Bright yellow color with small head. Bitter grassy hops flavor initially with a creamy malt finish (strange - typically taste the malt first with German pils). Not bad - middle of road beer.
