Our Short North location is now open! Located at 1288 N High St, Columbus, OH, this building was originally a Ford dealership in 1917 and you’d find many historical aspects throughout.

Recently we partnered with CoHatch Communities to open a location in Dublin! Please look for upcoming announcements as we are planning to open in June! Located in Historic Dublin, OH at 56 N High St.

Kangaroo Astronaut West Coast IPA from North High Brewing Company

On tap at North High as West Coast IPA. Favorite beer from them so far. Big, awesome aroma. This is solid. Massive hop tones. Very modern. Has the tropical dankness we all want. Really great.

Double Chocolate Stout from North High Brewing Company

Tap at North High. Nice oily thick chocolate aroma. Oily thick chocolate tones. Truly a double chocolate stout, but at 9% had to categorize it as an imperial. Wow. Viscous, heavy, rich. A beast of a beer. Well done.

Tap at North High. Fruity UK yeast. Piny resinous hops. Kind of weird. Not really a good US or UK example, but manages to capture facets of both. Not that impressive. Dry finish. A touch bold for the stye.

Tap at North High. Unfiltered tan. A nice, hoppy, classic APA. Pleasant fruity aroma. Thickish malt tones compared to say, a Session IPA. A pinch odd, can’t put my finger on it. OK.

Tap at North High. Unfiltered brown. A little soapy. Medium bodied. Caramel, maybe a touch of amber malt? A little watery. The soapy astringency of the hops detracts.

Chunky thick beige head on top of a black body. The nitro takes some of the heft away, but leaves the rich sweetness. Rich cocoa. Lactic touches. Good. Roasty sweet.

Tap at North High. Mellow nitro mouthfeel. Vanilla is noticeable. Not unlike Boddingtons with a vanilla addition. Nice true UK mouthfeel. Not really my thing, sort of too sweet. OK.

The Rye adds some nice depth. Smooth and sweet, approaching full bodied. Steady creamy beige head. Pretty good.

Bourbon Barrel Aged Milk Stout from North High Brewing Company

Sample at the tap room. Pours black with a thin light beige head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and oak. Light-bodied with flavors of roast malt, cocoa and subtle bourbon. The finish is roasty with a malt and mild bourbon aftertaste. Above average overall.
