Sample from cask at the Ohio Craft Brew Fest on 09/13/2014: Brownish-black pour with a medium thin creamy beige head that recedes steadily to a wispy film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate, peanut butter and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of roasted malt, peanut butter and cocoa. The finish is slightly smoky with a peanut butter and chocolate aftertaste. Above average overall.

On draught at House Beer. The beer pours a hazy dark yellow-gold color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, spice and wheat. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, spice and wheat. The finish is mildly spiced with a coriander aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft at Jackie O’s Brewpub, 7/14/14. Pours a dark clear brown color with a thin creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, dark fruits, nuts. Medium bodied.

Sample at the tap room. This Shandy is a pale orange color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a minimal outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus, wheat and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of lemons, wheat and sweet malt. The finish is sweet with a lemonade aftertaste. Pretty average overall.

Sample at Daily Growler UA during the "Great Lakes Tap Invasion" on 07/10/2014. Hazy yellow-orange color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to a wispy film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, citrus and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, zesty citrus and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering grapefruit and hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
