Our Short North location is now open! Located at 1288 N High St, Columbus, OH, this building was originally a Ford dealership in 1917 and youβd find many historical aspects throughout.

Sample at the tap room. Hazy bright orange color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, wheat and spices. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal wheat, sweet spice and fruit. The finish is wheaty with a citrus and coriander aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at Daily Growler UA. Dark brown pour with a medium thin khaki head that diminishes gradually to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate malt, roasted nuts and vanilla. Medium-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, vanilla, cocoa and subtle strawberry. The finish is sweet with a mocha and pistachio aftertaste. Interesting and tasty beer all around.

Sample at Daily Growler UA during the "New Belgium Tap Invasion" on 01/16/2014. The beer is a brownish-black color with a medium thin light beige head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Medium-bodied and creamy with flavors of chocolate malt, mild coffee and subtle pistachios. The finish is sweet and roasty with a lingering malty aftertaste. Solid beer overall.

On draught at Zauber Brewing Company. Pours a dark brownish-black color with a medium thin beige head that diminishes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and a touch of hops. Medium-bodied with a roasty character of coffee and malt, along with notes of dark chocolate and hops. The finish is dry with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Aroma of vanilla and malt. Light-bodied with a roasty character and flavors of chocolate malt and vanilla coffee. The finish is sweet with a roasted malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, earthy malt and caramel. The finish is moderately bitter with an earthy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at Daily Growler during the Growler Patch Pumpkin Party on 10/24/2013. Hazy yellow-orange color with a medium white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Wheat and hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly bitter herbal hops, toasted malt and wheat. The finish is hoppy for the style, leaving a spicy aftertaste. Decent overall.
