16 ounce can from Pinocchio’s Beer Garden in Media, PA. Bright, medium gold color. Pillowy white head. Grainy, metallic malt aroma. Clean, crisp malty flavor has biscuity notes that are balanced by a dry, herbal hop finish. Refreshing and true to the style.

Wholly unimpressive for the style, leaves none of that bourbon candy sweetness, more fuesal cheap spirit tone. Chewy caramel, but thinned out, possibly just not accompanied by a bigger malt/ sugar backdrop. Unique in a way, but not that great of a beer.

Terrible pour at the brewery, maybe 11oz? Not sure what that was about, didn't fill the glass at all. Toffee sweet, rather nasty and unimpressive for an IPA of any sort. Tastes like a British strong IPA, in a bad way. Not at all worth bar price.

Tap at the brewery. Crackery, dry, bitter brown malt/ chocolate tones. Perhaps drinks a little more amber/brown ale, but still an enjoyable beer all the way.

Tap at Locust Lane. Big fig, plum notes, sweet brown sugar. A little thick, but nice dark fruit flavor. I wouldn't add fruit to a quad, takes away subtly. OK.

Tap at Locust Lane. Big, juicy hop depth. At 7.8, not that double, but very drinkable. Soft carbonation, really pleasant beer.
