On tap at Unrefined - Tarpon Springs, pours black, no head. Aroma is driven by the bourbon barrels, cocoa, vanilla, and a touch of Oreos. Flavour is driven by the bourbon barrels, with tart dark fruits, Oreos, and somewhat harsh vanilla. The tartness still cuts through the barrel. Better than the non-BA version but still flawed.

On tap at Unrefined - Tarpon Springs, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has plenty of Oreos, cocoa, and a vanilla. Flavour has some tartness to it, with Oreos, somewhat harsh vanilla, and cocoa. There’s some good malts in here but the tartness seems undesirable. Okay.

On tap at Unrefined - Tarpon Springs, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out light cayenne and cinnamon upfront, with moderate roast. Flavour is on the thinner side for a RIS, with a nice blend of cayenne and cinnamon, not much vanilla, and gentle roast. Fairly dry, nicely spiced. Pleasant, easier-drinking spiced stout. Good.

On tap at Unrefined - Tarpon Springs, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of resinous hops, dry pine, grapefruit zest, and bready malt. Flavour has grapefruit zest, bready malt, and and a touch of pine. A bit clumsily balanced, but there’s a decent hop expression. Pleasant but not really on point.
