Bottle at share. Black with tan head. Quite unique in both aroma and taste. Insanely luscious body with velvet chocolate and a bit of nuttiness. Burnt sugar en masse together with exotic wood, cinnamon. Very interesting, quite good.

At the Ryan Jialing Barleywine share: pours. How does each different kind of vanilla smell? I don't really know, but this beer has all of them comingled. Aromas of coffee, barrel and vanilla. Taste is vanilla, sweetness, some punchy notes. Quite nice.

Bottle, at Ryan’s nuptial share. Pours dark brown to black. Vanilla, sweet, creme brûlée, nutty, milk chocolate, burnt sugar, very sweet. Oily body. Solid.

Boozy, oily, strong bourbon and vanilla, can't really find the hazelnuts. Licorice in the finish, rich, tasty. Very nice.
