Description
Sternburg beers have been produced in an own brewery until 1991. After that it was just a brand produced by "Leipziger Brauhaus zu Reudnitz". In 2012 the brewery was renamed to Sternburg Brauerei as the Reudnitzer brand was discontinued.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.Unclear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, moderate yeasty, fruity, yeast, clove. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, yeast. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20111220]

[9/30/11] Mahleket Hanikot Shotrim ’11 tour. Bottle at the venue in Finsterwalde. Another industrial German lager - a bit of sweetness, a bit of hops, slightly metallic bitterness. Kinda drinkable.

Bottled 500ml. -found at Turkish shop with funny name Moonshine Deluxe, Tiergarten Berlin. From the bottle in front of the Moonshine. Dryish and weak malty with light grainy and cardboard notes.Boring beer.

Malziger, etwas brotiger Antrunk. Wo sonst eine deutliche Süße einsetzt ist hier ein Aroma des Alkoholentzuges vorhanden, was zuerst überrascht und dann absolut unpassend wirkt. Dadurch herber, es mangelt an füllender Süße, so dass das Bier fad erscheint. So ist es auch im Abgang, in dem eine leichte Süße nichts mehr ausrichten kann. 8/7/7/8/6/6
