Bottle: Chestnut amber coloured, firm, mid-sized off-white head; mild fruity-malty nose, moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, soft MF, light bodied; a tinge of chocolatey bitterness in the sweetish-fruity-malty finish. A decent brew, more a Dunkel than a Schwarzbier..............

Big dark beige creamy head. Dark red translucent body. Sweetish caramelly aroma with notes of smoke and dry milkiness. Taste is sharp because of carbonation, but eventually settles down into papery burntness and milky caramel. Sweetish. A dry burnt paper taste lingers. Not at all bad. (0.5l bottle.)

Largish light brown head. Dark red body, barely translucent. Sweet, earthy caramel aroma. Sweet, soft grainy straw taste with caramel notes. Lacking in balance: no hops or bite of any kind, just slack sweetness. Kind of like Norwegian wort beer. It’s OK, but too spineless to be very interesting. (0.5l bottle.)
