Description
Eagle Park Brewing was founded by two brothers who live to write music and drink beer. Like their band, the brewing started in the garage, and like their songs, the beer tells a story. It’s a story of dedication and commitment to the craft beer community that comes through in every pour, every toast, and every taste.

Aromas are malt, citrus, fresh cut grass, resin and a little onion. Flavors are similar to nose, citrus comes out more as grapefruit with some lemon. Leans a bit sweet but with enough carbonation to balance. Body is a bit chewy and carbonation a touch soft. Nice beer.

12oz can. Nice bready malt tone. Hop tone is rather soft, not really giving any balance or definition. Medium bodied, very sessionable, simplistic. Not really a great example of the style, but drinkable enough.

12oz can. Big corn notes, definitely the main flavor happening. Right next door to Cream Ale. Creamy, sweet, simple. OK.

12oz can. Not sure why modern brewers can't nail simple Porter and Stouts, but here is another example. Burnt oily specialty malt tones. Nutty, toffee tones that aren't remotely balanced. Lacks any finesse. Not that enjoyable at all.

Really nice that they're doing this beer in honor of Mike Romans. I had the pleasure and privilege of chatting with him a number of times. What a character! Good hazy beer in his honor. Nice zesty citrus hops with just enough bitter to balance the sweet and carbonation. Decent body, satisfying beer. But the image of him? The pose. And then they make his left hand look like a prosthetic.

Tap at XGolf. Another snoozer from Eagle Park. Perfectly acceptable soft, juicy Citra tone. Orange juice, oats. Wholly interchangeable with 100000 other hazies.

12oz can. Deep and malty, pleasant lager tone. A little darker than typical, but still in line for the style..just adding a touch more caramel where a little more hop bitterness might have been appropriate. Really drinkable, bready, tasty stuff.
