Dark brown. Fudgey taste and not much horchata character. I'd expect at least some cinnamon, but nah. It's okay but it's mostly a sweet stout that doesn't capture the horchata thing. I mean, my favourite horchata stouts are usually from Mexico...where would one actually buy a horchata in Penticton?

Tart, with lots of passionfruit. Yellow and hazy. The base beer is a bit dirty, and but the fruit makes it nice. OK, I am a sucker for passionfruit in a beer, but still.

Clear light gold body and minimal foam. Muddy pilsner hops on the nose, not as snappy as I'd like. Flavour is lots of lagery hops, slight caramel, vague snappy pilsner notes shoved way in the back. Not on the main stage, and that's a problem.

Good brownish amber body, slight fog, decent foam. Weak soft caramel on the nose sadly. Flavour is good biscuit, slight bitter molasses. Nice oily finish yet still watery. Pretty good, rather simplistic.

On tap at Darby's, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt and toasted caramel, with little hop character. Flavour is pretty lifeless, with bready malt, a touch of caramel, and almost zero hop character. Lacking body or depth. Weak.

Deep clear maroon with a small white head. Soured red currants and raspberry. Soured raspberry and a light finish. Solid.

Dark red-purple colour, with a pink head. Jammy raspberry aroma is pretty straightforward. The acidity is quite mellow, there's a bit of sweetness, again giving off a jammy note, and lots of fruit. So it does come across as artificial, and the low acidity makes it very approachable, but it's clean and refreshing. Too mainstream for me, but good for a mainstream fruit sour.

Can. A little bit dull, and moderately hazy. Bubbly head. Arguably, the hops in this are more citrusy, like pomelo, and a bit of tropical accents, maybe papaya. On the palate, similar. Not bad, but nothing crazy.
