Description
David Cole and Peter Erickson are the founders and co-owners of Epic Brewing Company. Cole and Erickson, originally from California, started an international aquaculture company in Utah in 1992. In 2008, Utah law changed allowing these two entrepreneurs to pursue their longtime dream of opening a strong beer microbrewery in Utah, like those they frequented in the Golden State.
Admittedly, beer geeks, foodies, and "Epic" adventure junkies, share a passion for making and drinking fine ales and lagers. The Epic team has a strong belief in doing everything "all out."

12oz can picked up at Harmons. Pours slightly cloudy golden with a small off-white head, light lacing. Peach, sweet fruit. Ok, but too sweet.

Good big stout. Not world class, barrel, if any. Is very lacking. But it is smooth, not too big and chewy for the abv. Well made. BeerTemple ams

Bottle, 22oz. It's jet black in the glass, with a small dark brown head. Nice lacing. Intense aroma with roasted malts, some burnt notes, cocoa, dark chocolate, alcohol and a gentle whiskey hint. It's full bodied and lightly warming, softly carbonated, with a roasted malts kind of bitterness. Cocoa, roasted malts, bourbon, hints of raisin and milk chocolate and a good dash of delicious coffee in the flavor. Lasting coffee driven finish. Delicious indeed. Lovely. 230517

Bottle, 0.375l. Aroma is vinous, funky, cherry-like and floral. Pours cloudy brick red color with quickly diminishing pinkish head and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts with tart cherries and red wine, follows by tannins, citrus, wood and cream of tartar with smooth mouthfeel. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Epic tartness…
