Description
David Cole and Peter Erickson are the founders and co-owners of Epic Brewing Company. Cole and Erickson, originally from California, started an international aquaculture company in Utah in 1992. In 2008, Utah law changed allowing these two entrepreneurs to pursue their longtime dream of opening a strong beer microbrewery in Utah, like those they frequented in the Golden State.
Admittedly, beer geeks, foodies, and "Epic" adventure junkies, share a passion for making and drinking fine ales and lagers. The Epic team has a strong belief in doing everything "all out."

Bottle (Release #3) at Malmö Crew Christmas tasting at Palace Hall (17/12/2022) - roasted and sweet malty with silky sweet chocolate, some molasses and fudge like sweetness, coffee roast, charred brown sugar, full bodied, dark malty into the finish. Lovely.

EPIC Son of A Baptist 8% Novo Coffee Stout with Cacao nibs Deep black with ruby highlights and tan head of thick rocky foam. Great coffee aroma with savory stout notes. Wonderfully smooth medium to full body. The taste is yummy coffee up front then stout in the finish. Really nice example of a coffee stout.

Bottle shared in Canary Wharf - cheers to Cloin. Pours black-brown with a bubbly, beige head. Moderate sweetness, dark chocolate, burnt toast, earth, light ashy roast, nips of raisin and coffee. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Mild warmth to finish, rounded dark malts, toasted barrel, baking cocoa. Good stuff.
