473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy copper amber with a small, foamy, short lived, ecru head that laces. Sweet aroma of bready caramel malt, red apple and floral hops. Sweet flavour of biscuity pale malt, caramel, baked red apple and floral hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily to watery texture and soft carbonation. Malt forward and easy to drink.

473ml can. Pours a clear dark brown with red hue and a small, creamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves curtains of lace. Mild aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate and light smoke. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate, earth and light smoke in a dry, mild bitter, day-old coffee finish. Light to medium body with an oily to watery texture and soft carbonation. Could use more smoke.

473ml can. Pours a hazy red amber with a thin, fizzy, short lived, off-white head that fully dissipates. Faint aroma of toasted bready malt and ginger. Mild, sweet flavour of toasted grainy malt, ginger, cinnamon and vanilla. Light body with a watery texture and average to soft carbonation. Thinner than I thought it would be and too mild for my liking.

355ml can. Pours a slightly hazy orange amber with a medium, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of bready caramel malt, orange rind, floral and light piney hops. Sweet flavour of grainy caramel malt, orange, grapefruit pith and piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not terrible, but not great either.

On tap. Pours a cloudy orange-red with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that laces. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, cherry, raspberry and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, cherry, Belgian yeast and floral hops in a dry finish. Light body with a watery to oily texture and average carbonation. Artificial, but not bad.

Slightly fruity flavour of biscuity pale malt, cantaloupe, lemon and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Light body with a watery to oily texture and average carbonation. Clean, refreshing and crushable.

Dark brown with a thin head. Really rich smokiness, with enough body to carry it, lots of intense sugars, bitterness. Drinks pretty big for 5.3%.

On tap at Bow River, pours a deep dark brown / near black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out gentle smoke, toasted malt, and some earthy notes. Flavour is fairly malty and smoky, with light roast, gentle smoke, some sweetness, and a little cocoa. Nice gentle campfire smoke pervading this. Good stuff.
