Description
The Compañía Cervecera de Canarias (CCC), based in Santa Cruz de Tenerife , was founded in 1939, starting to make a beer that would be called Dorada. In 1994 it merged with the Canary Industrial Society (SICAL) of Gran Canaria, which was the old La Tropical brewery founded in 1924. Currently, Compañía Cervecera de Canarias has more than 300 Canarian entrepreneurs among its shareholders and is part of the AB InBev International Group.

bottle. clear yellow, smooth white head. flowery aroma, faint yellow fruits, almost sort of like a belgan blonde. quite unexpected. flavor is quite bad, there is a herbal bitterness and some unidentified sweetness to balance, overall a bit chemical and metallic. the estrella galicia sin gluten is much much better.

0,33 l can. Thanks to Jacci & Nils. Pours put clear golden with a one finger head. Low grassy smell with some citrus. Taste is flat grainy, some apple, everything low. Cardboard. No hop present.

Clear pale golden colour, tall creamy macropore white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma sweet malts, corn, paper, hint of hops. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, malty, grainy, very faint hops. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, quaffable.

Clear ruby brown colour, average soapy beige head, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Aroma toasted malts, cola, liquorice, caramel. Taste light heavy to medium sweet and light bitter, malty, liquorice. Thin sweetbitter aftertaste, very light roast, bit burnt caramel. Medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, mwoa.

Draft from Sibora bar in Fontanales, Gran Canaria. Clear pale golden colour, good frothy white head, fairly lasting, good lacing. Aroma pale malts, grain, light grass. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grainy, light grass. Sweetbitter aftertaste, malty, light hops, touch of pepper, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, decent lager.

Cloudy pale golden colour, small frothy white head, dissipates slowly, light lacing. Aroma wheat, light citrus, bit banana, hint of cloves, dough. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, wheat, light citrus, bread. Aftertaste as in taste, medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Acceptable wheat beer (not a weizen nor a witbier).

Clear pale to medium amber colour, good thick creamy off-white head, fairly lasting, good lacing. Aroma toasted malts, caramel, hay. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, toffee, bready, light spicy notes. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, bit woody, hint of pepper, quite nice and tasty.
