Description
The Compañía Cervecera de Canarias (CCC), based in Santa Cruz de Tenerife , was founded in 1939, starting to make a beer that would be called Dorada. In 1994 it merged with the Canary Industrial Society (SICAL) of Gran Canaria, which was the old La Tropical brewery founded in 1924. Currently, Compañía Cervecera de Canarias has more than 300 Canarian entrepreneurs among its shareholders and is part of the AB InBev International Group.

Anywhere @ Gran Canaria. Golden colour with a minimal and quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is very light malts. Flavor is light with a very slightly bitterness. Watery final.

Can sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Clear straw with a tiny bit of foam. Rather corny aroma. Sweetish grainy and corny flavor with a faint bitterness in the finish. Light-bodied.

Drunk from can. Smell of malt, starch. Aroma of grain, starch, some sugar. Medium sweet, some bitterness tries to push through but doesn’t really succeed. Mid-to-flat carbon.

Clear pale golden colour, small foamy white head, disappears quickly, some lacing. Light malty nose, corn, hint of citrus. Sweetbitter taste; light body, lively carbonation, watery texture, crisp, short dry finish slightly bitter.

Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130629]
