Bottle sample @ Tilquin English Beerfest 2018. Thanks Beerhunter111. BB 05/06/2018. Brune, col beige. Arôme est malté chocolaté, note anglaise dans l'approche, caramel, et petite touche crystak en rétro. Peu d'impact au niveau amertume des houblons. Palais est assez classique anglais, chocolaté et caramel, effervescence haute presque de trop, fruits noirs avec léger fini amer noble tirant sur le citronné.

Bottle. Slightly unclear pale golden color with white head. Aroma is peach, yoghurt, fresh, a hint of stomach acid, sauerkraut indeed! Taste is peach yoghurt, tart, fresh. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Quite simple, but Blackwell tastiness.

Pretty clear dark brown beer, aery irregular beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very roasted, spicy, some yeast, coffee, charcoal, caramel, sweetish, very malty, some banana. MF: very lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty start, roasted, some ripe banana. Aftertaste: more malts, bit fruity, some banana, very yeasty, not a big fan of this one...

33cl bottle from a trade with anstei, thanks. A hazy dark brown beer with a small tan head. Aroma of sweet mild roasted malt, Lactose and some red fruits. Taste of mild roasted dark malt, chocolate, some vanilla and lactose.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber. Aroma is Blackwell funk, wine, elderflower, red berries. Body is light, funky, tart, crisp, some weird ripe fruit like banana and elderflower. Dryish palate. Good, but a bit strange.

Bottle, courtesy of DerA. Pours darkest brown. Aroma is spruce, pine needles, resin, herbal, spices. Body is heavy, boozy and strong, really herbal and spicy, Christmas spices, mints, caramel, intense. A great experiment, but not something to drink a whole bottle from.

Bottle. Hazy brown color with white head. Aroma is spruce tips, extremely Tannenbaum, resinous. Taste is spruce, spices, chocolate, super resinous. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Christmasy, very radical, and a great project. Bonus points for creativity.

Bottle, courtesy of DerA. Pours cloudy pale yellow, with more residues towards the bottom of the bottle. Aroma is pigs, funk, candy, peat, spices. Body is light, tart and softly sour, softly carbonated. Little salt and coriander, but a gose indeed. Good!

Bottle. Clear pale golden color with white head that goes down quickly (poured without sediment). Aroma is peat, peach, lacto funk. Taste is peat, peach. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Very balanced and very tasty!
