0.5 l can from local 'Trink & Spare', best before April 2024. Almost clear, reddish orange with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity aroma of bitter orange, grapefruit and pomelo. Quite sweet, gently bitter, rather fruity and a bit artificial taste of bitter orange, lemonade, grapefruit and some pomelo, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Way too sweet, even a little artificial, just about drinkable.

0.5 l can from local 'Trink & Spare', best before June 2023. Very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, a little fruity aroma of cola, burnt sugar, some lemonade and hints of raisins. Quite sweet, a little sourish, a bit fruity taste of burnt sugar, cola, lemonade and a touch of raisins, followed by a short, hardly bitter, minimally tart finish. Medium body, minimally astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Drinkable but fairly sweet.

.5 l can, dated 5/7/22. Pours an almost amber color. Not unfiltered bits except some very small flecks, unless it's settled to the bottom of the can. Thick yellowish-white head. The slight softened water nose of a German beer. Taste is kind of thin and weak, though. Not a sign of age, I think. But most likely authentic to the Zwickel style.

500ml can. Pours a crystal clear gold with a small, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Mild sweet aroma of grainy pale malt and floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, lemon and grassy hops in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Pretty standard Pils, crushable and thirst quenching.
