I love hops, so naturally I go after the beer that they advertise for people who don’t. I loved this beer, so I guess it’s all beer that meets my requirements. Draft pour pint at the 192 lake trail taproom, during the brewers night. Lighter cloudy golden orange pour with a thin film head. Nice orange fruit aroma and flavor. Dominant grapefruit, and very low bitter to the finish. Juicy, citrus, and overall a fantastic beer that I hope will be available come summer time. Delicious.

Draft pour pint at the Hop and Hound. Listed at 5.8%, 70 IBU. Cloudy golden orange pour with a rocky foam head. Fresh hop aroma. Flavor is a nice mix of fruity hop and hints of rye. I don’t care a whole lot for rye, but it’s kinda nice when it’s sitting in the back row. New ticks always trumps personal flavor preferences. This also has a subtle orange throughout. Overall a solid IPA here.

Draft pour pint at the 192 Lake Trail Taproom. From notes. Rating #1992. The year that Nirvana ruled everything. On tap as part of the Rooftop brewers night. Listed as Scotch Scotch Scotchity Scotch, or something like that. Another beer name that I never order by the full name, because it just sounds weird. Dark brownish pour with very little head. Peat dominant aroma. Flavor is slightly smokey malt up front, with a bold finish. Nice to see very little sweetness here. A bit of a cool finish. Fun beer.

Andrew is so wrong on this, no butter. It’s hoppy, sharp white bread malts. Very noble hoppiness. Definitely comes off as clean than a lager. Decent hoppy blond that is ale-like.

Draft pour at the brewery, with Eugene. Thanks. Though we disagree on beer characteristics, the enjoyment of beers together remains entact. Black pour with a fading fizz head. Smoked malt aroma. Roasted malt flavor up front, with a long lasting toasty finish. Weird beer here. Harsh bitterness, and not smooth. Rough IS for me.

9oz draft at newer brewery. Tastes like a first time stout. Thick factory artificial chocolate syrup with some mineral, lightly acidc aspects. A decent first stab, too much unfermented malt and thickness to the body.

Pilsner style ale? My head hurts. What does this even mean. Is it an ale or lager. Draft pint at the new brewery. Clear golden pour, enjoying this brewery for the first time with Eugene. Grainy aroma. Flavor is grainy up front, with soft hops and a big butter feature. Huge butter. Sorry Eugene. It’s there. Thick body, easy finish. Average lager. I’ve never used the term meh before, but... meh.

Draft pour pint at the collective. Cloudy orange pour wi th a ton of head and lace. Very malt heavy IPA here. Earthy. Lingering earthy malt finish. Hop profile isnt bad, but it’s not very dominant here. Decent IPA here.
