On tap at Hop Nuts, pours a hazy dull golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, bready malt and light syrupy notes. Flavour is sweet and malty, with bready malt, caramel, and subdued resinous notes. Over-malted, syrupy and under-hopped. Not a fan of the hop profile, and it's way too malty. Balanced poorly. Not so good.

On tap at Hop Nuts, pours a deep dark red brown with a red tinge and a small beige head. Aroma brings out earthy malt, toasted nuts and bready malt. Flavour is dry, with earthy malt and toasted nuts. Rather powdery and earthy. Not so impressive but nothing wrong.

On tap at Hop Nuts, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out stone fruit pith and some dank hops. Flavour is fruity, with lots of bright stone fruits, dank hops, and citrus. Bright and fruity, without much chalk. Good stuff.

On tap at Hop Nuts, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma is totally on point, with bready malt, toasted nuts and a hint of caramel. Flavour is likewise on point, with bready malt, toasted nuts, and light caranel. Dry and bready, with good depth and good command of the yeast. Surprisingly good.

On tap at Hop Nuts, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is actually rather delicate, with piney hops, a hint of resins and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is surprisingly restrained and easy-drinking, with bright piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Reminds me of Pliny — super easy-drinking and balanced. Lovely. Deleting my prior review, which was clearly based on an infected beer. This new version is just divine.

On tap at Hop Nuts, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is crisp, with grassy notes and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is wonderful, with that beautiful white wine tang that is such a signature of Nelson hops; it's grassy and crisp in the right ways as well. Lovely Nelson beer.
