Draft at Mad Swede downtown. Dark brown pour, clear, fine cream colored head. Roasty aroma, notes of coffee, burnt toast. Taste adds a little sweetness and pumpernickel flavors, with some yeasty aspects influencing the flavor. Interesting.

12oz can from Brewers Haven. Foggy golden pour, persistent thin layer of creamy head. Light malty, yeasty aroma, vanilla. Taste adds some faint citrusy flavors, malty, vanilla. Kviek yeast is my guess.

On tap at the Cole Brewery/taproom fairly clear pale yellow golden. Thin coarse white head. Classic fairly sweet light malts. Subtle in the typical noble hop but. Pleasant in that regard. A recent favorite of a style I don’t generally love
