Taster at Bittercreek. Dark black pour, small skin of head, tons of lacing. Coffee leads the aroma and taste, supported by a nice roast grain base. Coffee accents the roast bitterness. Solid.

Draft at the BP, had a couple pints of this one… brown, dark and sort of muddy with a finger of tan head. Aroma is pretty sharp roast and light bitters. Plenty of roast in the taste along with a little bittersweet cocoa and modest floral hops. Lingering bitters.

On Tap at the brewery, clear redish amber with a soapy thick light tan head. Sort of a light fruity winey aroma and light slightly sweet malt flavors. Not so much of the rye bite but a strange interesting flavor combo.

On Tap at the brewery. Black with a nice full dense tan head. Dry clean sharp roast flavors, well hopped, suggests of a Black IPA at first. Nice bold clean flavors. Lingering bitterness. This would age/mellow well I think. Good

Draft at the brewery. Dark amber, small soapy head. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel apples. Taste too features the sweet fruity flavors, nice silky feel from the oats, apples, cherries, strawberries. Very interesting. A touch of rye mustiness. All over the place but comes together nicely.

Taster at BitterCreek. Medium-amber, small bubbly head. Mild malty aroma, gets huge at first sip, brings some of the hoppy zing, and sticks around on the palate for a while.. Pretty tasty stuff.
