Draft @ the BP. Golden orange color with a modest cap. Light aroma is fresh with citrus, fruity, and bits of grass. Mild hop bitters in the taste a soothing sweetness. Light lingering citrus and bitters on the tail. I’ve had this a few times now... it’s a pretty solid go-to at this new pub.

Draft @ the brewpub. Dark brown in color, near black with a thin brown cap. Rich aroma of roast and a little smoke. Big flavor is sweeter than expected, but really nice. Dark bittersweet chocolate, roast, and lightly smoky. Surprising to have a big stout like this from a new brewer come out so well right out of the gates.

Draft @ the brewpub. Brownish amber color, a little muddy, and small beige cap. Aroma is lightly sweet, malty, a just faintly of smoked peat. Tastes heavy in malt, sweet with a little peat. OK.

On tap at the Boise brewery/taproom Black, tan ring of coarse lacing. Sharp campfire roastiness and a little anise, fairly dry and clean. Long lingering fairly piney bitterness. This would mellow out pretty well..in barrels...perhaps...? Good stout.

On Tap at the Boise Brewery/Taproom dark brown/amber with a brief tan head. Peaty earthy malt aromas and flavors. A little cidery and attenuated pretty well. Not so full bodied as I expected .

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Black pour with tight beige head, curtains of lacing. Nice bold roast grain aroma. Mildly sweet, roasty, chicolate. Taste continues, gentle warmth. Some lingering bitterness, and growing heat in the gullet. Pretty impressed with this brew from this new brewery.
