Description
Founded in 2012, Cloud 9 Brewery is a nanopub concept featuring locally sourced and organic components in both the brewery and restaurant.
With an emphasis on creative brewing, Cloud 9 is situated in a unique place in the market. Instead of having the exact same line-up from month to month, the beers on-tap at Cloud 9 change as soon as the last drop from the previous batch has been poured. With so many taps, and only 6 year-round beers, the variety is truly amazing.
Cloud 9 also features a unique feedback process by which we judge what beer-drinkers actually think. We collate and analyze the input and use that to shape the direction of the next batch. In this way the community is involved in the brewing process from concept to the final foamy pint.
A commitment to quality, service and genuine interest in our community make Cloud 9 Brewery the place for beer aficionados, foodies, and everyone who enjoys fresh and unique culinary creations.

On tap at the Boise NB Hazy orang light amber. Full quick white head. Light sweet malt aromas and flavors. Lightly hopped and I would not have even guessed the claimed 23IBU Some sweet fruit and melon Flavors. Not much of the traditional wit yeast notes.

On tap at the Boise NP deep black with a modest quick rather coarse tan head. Yes plenty of licorice and dark fruit. With a little campfire and ash. I wouldnβt have guessed as big as the stated 56 IBU. Very tasty

Kind of underwwhelming, not very hoppy, and bone dry. Overall flat appearance and taste, would be a great food accompaniment, but on its own kind of bland.

Very sweet, not enough of the earthy, peaty flavors. Dark amber body with small off white frothy head. Faint malty aroma, some fruitiness. Taste is more sweet malt and some brown sugar. Dull finish.

On tap at the Boise NP black (duh) with a nice light tan head Classic roasty aroma with some coffee Not a lot but a nice compliment. Socket sweet and mild roasted flavors and under hopped I think. This stout is tasty and nice but i feel it is playing down to the masses. More of a desert beer maybe...might pair nicely with a taramisu

On tap at the Boise NP Dark brown black with a fluffy tan head. Chocolate roasty malt aroma and a roasted slightly burnt flavor. Modestly hopped and smooth. Nice rich soft roasted flavors. Barely bittered enough. An easy dark beer. Clean finish
