Description
Founded in 2012, Cloud 9 Brewery is a nanopub concept featuring locally sourced and organic components in both the brewery and restaurant.
With an emphasis on creative brewing, Cloud 9 is situated in a unique place in the market. Instead of having the exact same line-up from month to month, the beers on-tap at Cloud 9 change as soon as the last drop from the previous batch has been poured. With so many taps, and only 6 year-round beers, the variety is truly amazing.
Cloud 9 also features a unique feedback process by which we judge what beer-drinkers actually think. We collate and analyze the input and use that to shape the direction of the next batch. In this way the community is involved in the brewing process from concept to the final foamy pint.
A commitment to quality, service and genuine interest in our community make Cloud 9 Brewery the place for beer aficionados, foodies, and everyone who enjoys fresh and unique culinary creations.

On tap at the Boise NP Clear deep redish copper with a thin skin of an off white head. They try tongue me a full glass and sneak it in i think. Lightly toasted malt arom and flavors. A touch of a cereal character and some light brown sugar. Low bitterness and malty. Wouldn’t have guessed 7.7 ABV

Tap @ BP. Pours a lighter golden yellow color, topped with a finger of white head. Nose is mild, citrus and floral hops. The taste is ramped up from the nose; heavy citrus, floral, and piney hops. Really clean. Light bready malt, but the focus is on hops. Nice beer here.

Tap @ BP. Pours a soft golden orange with a finger of creamy white head. Lots of sheet lacing. The nose is relatively mild, some floral and citrus hops, but muted overall. Good hops flavor up front; citrus, pine, and floral, with a hint of bready malt. There is a delay in the hops potency, as well as the ABV. Hits rather hard in the tail. Good, but potent.

Tap @ BP. Dark brown pour, light brown head. The nose is mild, but spice filled with nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves. Up front, the taste is mostly spice, before a little pumpkin pie flavor, and subtle roast. More spice than I usually care for when crossed with a porter, but decent.

On Tap at the NP Standard porter aroma and flavors. very little in the way of a pumpkin. I nearly asked for the porter as well to taste side by side. Very pleasant though, nice roasty flavors. and a smooth feel. Just not sure this is a pumpkin beer.

On Tap at the NP hazy orange with a small short lived off white head. Faint light pumpkin and spice flavors. Nice and not overdone. A slight bitter bite at the end. Nice.

Cloudy copper orange with small foamy ring of a head. Nice malty aroma and taste, very smooth and silky, reminds me of fall in Germany. Well done festbier.

On Tap at the NanoPub. A clear definitely amber with a small but fine off-white head. Rather light and bright aroma. Lightly toasted malt. Flavor was also a nice crisp toasted slightly caramelized malt flavor. A little nutty. A clean finish and a little more hop bite than is typical for the style. One of my favorites here. Hope to see it as a regular

On Tap at the NanoPub Hazy golden orange with a wispy fleeting head. Very light grain aroma. Some honey and herbal sweetness. Some light fruit notes, slightly citrusy. I suspect this is another variant of the same lineage as their Yazy Wheat. Light and tasty and different enough to make it interesting.
