Description
Founded in 2012, Cloud 9 Brewery is a nanopub concept featuring locally sourced and organic components in both the brewery and restaurant.
With an emphasis on creative brewing, Cloud 9 is situated in a unique place in the market. Instead of having the exact same line-up from month to month, the beers on-tap at Cloud 9 change as soon as the last drop from the previous batch has been poured. With so many taps, and only 6 year-round beers, the variety is truly amazing.
Cloud 9 also features a unique feedback process by which we judge what beer-drinkers actually think. We collate and analyze the input and use that to shape the direction of the next batch. In this way the community is involved in the brewing process from concept to the final foamy pint.
A commitment to quality, service and genuine interest in our community make Cloud 9 Brewery the place for beer aficionados, foodies, and everyone who enjoys fresh and unique culinary creations.

On tap at the Boise BP cloudy light amber orange with a sticky tan head. Mainly light toasted malts and some caramel. Hoppy enough to keep it interesting but IPA…? Ok. Nice flavors and a little woody. Modest lingering bitterness.

Draft at brewery. Near black pour, skin of beige head. Light roasty aroma. Roast malts pick up a bit in the taste, with a fair amout of bitter bite. Body is spot on. This style is not done enough in the US

Tmave pivo. Czech dark lager 4.9 On tap at the NB. Deep dark nearly black pour with a full fluffy mocha head. Soft subtle dark roast aromas and a rich smooth toasty flavor. A touch of dark chocolate and a light but very smooth feel. Lacking the IBU bit you half expect but this is not a CDA or black IPA. Just roasty, light, smooth and very good.
