On Tap at the Garden City brweery/taproom Dark brown pour, thin quick light tan head. Soft roast and chocolate and some mint. Not over the top, but its there. Light and a ittle chalky feel. Interesting flavors.

On Tap at Homestead, Meridian. Hazy dull orange pour. Coarse white head. Some light fruit punch medley of tropical flavors Light grassy hop bitterness. Not much here, light slightly fruity and low bitterness...which is what it is supposed to be

On Tap at the brewery/taproom Hazy light golden. Som echcolate roasty aromas and flavors. Smooth soft palate. Lingering slightly sweet roast and choclate malt...but pale color... I still think these things are strange. Tasty though

Taster at Heritage Hop Haus. Black pour, filmy beige head. Aroma comes in sweet, while taste veers off to herbal and floral notes. Some chocolate , then mint. Got it...Thin Mints cookies....

Taster at Heritage Hop Haus. Golden stout, pale golden with a small creamy head. Sweet aroma, marshmallow, chocolate. Taste follows with more of the S'mores flavors, mildly sweet, with a creamy texture. Powderhaushas been nailing it lately.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Dark brown, really dark, creamy beige head. Aroma is milk chocolate and roast grains, hint of booze. Taste comes on strong. Sweet milk notes, chocolate, coffee and boozy notes from the barrel. Wasn't prepared for this, much, much better than anticipated.

750ml bottle thanks to Stevoj pours out amber topped with a sand head. Nose is big citrus grapefruit hops some oak barrel. Taste is more of the oak barrel booze and lots of bitterness.

Had such high hopes for this. Dashed. Light amber pour, small tight head. Caramel, woody aroma. Taste is dry, woody, leathery. Not much evidence of the barrel aging.

On Tap at BitterCreek Boise Black with just a thin fine tan ring. Sweet dark carmel roastiness in the aroma. Big bold smooth flavors of dark raisins, medium roast and boozy barrels. Great blend of the classic BA RIS This is the best beer they've made. My only complaint is possibly under-bittered and wight not age very well. Still, very tasty.
