On tap at the brewery pours out a hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is light wheat grain and a touch of fruit. Taste is more of the light wheat notes and a little spice.

On tap at the brewery pours out a crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is big chili spice peppers and earthy notes. Taste is more of the nice peppers with just a little heat. This is pretty nice.

Standard hazy yellow light beige. Full tight white head. Mellow wheat malt aromas and flavors. Not so wheaty and bready as others. A bit more clean bite at the end as well. Not bad for a generally not very exciting style.

Can picked up at the Co-Op the other day really nice artwork on the label. Pours a light yellow color with a decent white head. Light bits of lacing. Aroma is pretty mild overall, grass and malty sweetness. Tastes mild, a little sweet and virtually no bitters. Light grains and a bit of sweet malt, some grass. Actually drinks really well. If rating by style this would be one of the better efforts from the Powderhaus crew.

Draft at Powderhaus. Pours a bright golden color with a thin finger of creamy beige head. Aroma is lively with citrus and piney resin, lightly sweet and indicative of heavy hops. Tastes rich with hop flavors; citrus and pine, light florals. Modestly sweet and assertively bitter. A little pithy and wood grapefruit bitterness in the end. Easily the star of the show for beers sampled at the BP today.

Draft at Powderhaus. Pours a dark brown color with a finger of creamy tan head. Aroma is roasty and semi-sweet, dark chocolate and espresso. Taste is heavily of roasted malt and dark chocolate, mostly sweet and just a hint of bitters. Lots of roast and just a little coffee.

Bomber from Boise Co-op. Maybe they’re getting it. Solid IPA and nice use of the Idaho 7. Medium golden body , hazy, skin of head, rings if lacing. Earthy aroma, malts, wood, orange peel, pine. Taste is also earthy and woody, sharp pine notes at the finish, orange peel. Nailed the Idaho 7 essence.
