Draft at Caffeina. Hazy mustard color, small foamy head. Light citrusy, grapefruit aroma. Taste is subdued grapefruit juice, soft around the edges . Refreshing but run of the mill.

Pint can courtesy of Buckeyboy. Thanks. Pours a slightly hazy dark yellow with a big ample head that has fair retention. The aroma is quite strong with corn and cereal grains. The taste is on the sweet side with corn, breads and something a bit fruity. The palate is full and smooth. finishes long with lingering corn. Overall: decent lager

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Cloudy golden pour, fast receding head. Aroma is sweet, honey, pale malts. Taste is bready, malty with the honey bringing a touch of sweetness and the Buell melon hops adding some light tropical fruit. Smooth, slick. Finished it before I realized. Easy drinker.

Bottle at the brewery. Murky light brown pour. Big pitted fruit and rum aromas and flavors. I pick up the cherries and orange peel. Thick and muddy.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Medium golden, hazy pour, one finger foamy white head. Grainy, malty aroma with a hint of sweetness. Bready taste, creamy, more light sweet notes and a razor thin bitter edge at the very end. Smooth, velvety.

OK, I changed my Rating as this beer improves with warmth. Boozy peaty notes with a sweetness from the vanilla. 750ml bottle from brewery. Dark brown pour, tan airy head, leaves tinybring. Aroma is smoky and sweet, possibly a bit too sweet, and plenty of booze. Taste picks up on the sweetness and vanilla to the detriment of the beer. Boozy flavors turn to medicine and acetone. Hard to pick up the bourbon or the peated malts. Lets see if gets better with warmth.

750ml bottle from brewery. Dark, clear brown, thin ring of beige head. Aroma is woody, malty, tannin, and some alcohol. Taste offers very faint hints of the adjuncts, almost none of the rum, leaving a dry, malty brew that doesn't have much to say. Color me disappointed.
