Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade
Pitch black color with small collar of brown foam. Mild aroma of roasted malt. Lean mouthfeel, less than expected, very salty, with light vinous touch; ordinary bitterness.
Not remarkable for being especially well brewed not innovative.

Tap@Mikkeller bar - pours back with a thin brown head. Roasted dark malt and chocolate, dark fruits, some cranberry on the palate and in the finish, vinous with red wine, slightly woody. Lovely drop this.

Tap at Port Street Beer House, Manchester. 03.11.13. Hazy amber. Bubbly, off white head. Aroma of raspberry jam, lots of grapefruit hoppiness. Some grassiness too. Taste has a dirty, earthy, bitterness but manages a dried fruit sweetness too. Bitter finish.

Sample at the 2013 London Craft Beer Festival. Pours black-brown with a tight, creamy brown head. Nose has lots of chocolate and dark berries. Medium sweet flavor with cherries, dark raspberries, chocolate. Medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Finishes with nice dark berry character, moderate chocolate, light bitterness, general dark malts. Really quite nicely balanced. Solid.

Sample at the 2013 London Craft Beer Festival. Pours clear amber with a moderate white foam head. Jammy fruits predominate, some pine, light berry yoghurt. Medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Fairly piney and resinous to finish with more jammy fruits. Decent, tasty.
