Keg at the Fox. Pours lightly hazy gold with a creamy, white head. The aroma has jammy citrus, grapefruit, anise. Medium sweet flavor, some dry minerals, melon, mandarin orange, pine needles. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish, some grass, pine, grapefruit. Not bad overall.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Hazy copper body with a thin off-white head that quickly fades. Light carbonation, nice lacing. Bright aroma of mint, vine tomatoes and tangerine. Zingy flavours - mint, lime, tomato and grass. Thin to medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Prickly carbonation. It’s not my favourite hop, but this beer showcases it beautifully. A really clean, spritzy IPA.

Tap at Sheffield Tap. Smoked anything is a bit scary? Even bacon. This was bang on smokey enough. Bit of ground coffee, dark chocolate maybe. Nice beer. A roll up as opposed to a B&H.

Draft as Gunner Porter. A dark red brown beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of smoke, malt, and mint. The flavor is sweet with notes of smoke, roasted malt, and chocolate, leading to a very bitter finish.

Draft. An unclear brown beer with a huge lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of wheat and spice sorachi ace hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, wheat, dusty and spicy hops, leading to a very bitter finish. Odd, but interesting.
