Cock Tavern. Keg. Clear amber - brown beer, tidy pale cream coloured head. Soft palate, a little airy. Fine carbonation. Soft airy light malt which supports lovely Sorachi Ace hops - love the lemon cream. Touch of herb and orange citrus. Whisper of sweet candy fruits. Finishes semi dry and soft with bitterish orange peel aftertaste. Very tasty and very very drinkable. Genuinely surprised at the low scores for this one, okay as a concept is doesn’t quite achieve it’s aim (check Saugatuck Neopolitan Stout which nailed the concept). But at the time of tasting I didn’t know what the aim was. All I tasted was a very interesting and drinkable beer. At the end of the day - that really is all that matters!

Old Fountain. Keg. Clear amber beer, good off white head. Palate is smooth with a minerally carbonated nip. Light fresh orange, trace of hop skunk. Touch of tinned mango. Good malt cream base. Finishes minerally orange with a mild fresh hop sting in the aftertaste. Decent and drinks well below it’s abv.

Keg at Euston Tap. It pours golden with a small white head. The nose is farmyard, urine, orange, tangerine and herbal notes. The taste is bread, hay, pithy citrus...zesty orange, tangerine, grapefruit, light pepper and faint herbal with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice level of bitterness. Decent APA.

Keg at the Euston Tap - London. Pours mostly clear gold with a sturdy, tight cream head. Some lightly jammy citrus in the nose, hints of bready pale malts. Light to medium sweet flavor with ripe citrua hoppiness, some dried pale malts, a bit of watermelon, dry grass. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Dry citrusy finish, some lightly toasted pale malts, toasted grass, orange, light dirt, toasted bread. A very drinkable pale ale.

Keg at Cock Tavern. It pours murky brown with a small off-white head. The nose is mint, aniseed, fresh fennel and ambergis. The taste is earth, brown bread, dirt, fennel, wood, assertive bitterness, rindy citrus, orange, grapefruit and spice with a dry, bitter finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty bizzare... I can only assume Sorachi Ace is involved! A bit unbalanced shall we say...

At the Cock Tavern brewpub. Keg - I think! Almost clear pale gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light and crisp, semi dry. Juicy fresh hops. Skunky with vibrant lemon and lime. Minerals. Crispy finish. Really like the combination of skunk and lemon. Very very drinkable! Shit name though (pun intended). Nice one JQ!
