On Tap at the 2016 "Black Friday" Black pour, a momentary wispy tan head. The lavender comes through nicely and does not seem to overpower. Otherwise and good fairly sweet stout that is a bit boozy and with hints of chocolate. My favorite of theirs I think.

Draft at BitterCreek. Pleasant surprise, pumpkin flavors and velvety texture. Aroma is on the pumpkin pie spice spectrum, taste leans more on the pumpkin, and the spiciness associated with the Abbey tripel. Super smooth, slick, finishes with a tickle.

On Tap at BitterCreek hazy deep chestnut brown thin light tan head. Nice classic woody malty body. Late notes of cookie dough and honey wheat toast. Touch of coffee. The fresh hoppiness is very mild, barely detectable. But this is a very tasty light brown ale.

Draft at Bitter Creek. Fresh hos add a bit of a snap to this brown, lingering, dry bitter finish. After IPAs and APAs, a bit mundane, but a little livelier than you average brown.

Idaho Potato Ale - Fresh Hop from Bear Island Brewing Company

On tap at growler guys meridian. Pours out a orangish topped with a sand head. Nose is floral hops and some dough malts. Taste is more of the floral hops some earthy tones and cereal.

Draft at Growler Guys, labeled as fresh hop Idaho potato ale. Hazy orange pour with a modest beige head. Floral hop aroma, a little herbal too. Tastes bitter with floral hops and just a bit sweet. Ok.

On tap at HomeBrew Stuff slightly hazy golden big dense light tan head. Mild soft malty body, some caramel sweetness, tropical melon hop aroma. Flavors are smooth sweet maltiness and a somewhat papery hop bite. Clean and well attenuated. Not very big on the fresh up front west coast type hop character. Woody and sharp.

IPA - Idaho Potato Ale from Bear Island Brewing Company

On Tap at Growler Guys, Meridian Hazy orange light amber. Long lasting fine of-white head. Husky grainy aroma. Modest piney hop flavors. Feel was thick and chewey. Woody tanin piney hop bite. Robust and hefty.

On tap at bier thirty. pours out a brownish amber color topped with a sand head. nose is light roast some nutty wood notes. Taste is more of the light roast malts some chocolate sweetness nutty and a little wood.

On Tap hazy deep chestnut brown. Modest tan head . Dont get much honey nut in this but its a nice brown ale with a little woody huskiness in it.
