Dark amber, slight haze. Thin head. It’s definitely got that caramel and butter thing going on. The brewer doesn’t seem to perceive diacetyl well, so there’s a bit of a QC gap here. Besides that, it’s just sort of sweet and one-dimensional on that caramel side. Maybe some traces of bubblegum, but of course that’s not a good thing.

Pale amber, slight butter, thin head. Ok, not really getting it done for me. I don’t mind the caramel and the slightly chewy bitterness, but the diacetyl has no role to play here other than to mess things up.

This is a sort of muddy blonde colour, with a thin head. On the nose, kind of a muddy hazy thing, but with some bubblegum phenols and some sweet overripe fruits. Low bitterness. Not my favourite.

Smells of nice bright hops with hints of candied pineapple, some skunk cabbage. Has a milky yellow body with modest foam. Flavour is bright chalky hops, simple but understandable. Good crispness on the mouth. It's straight ahead but serviceable.

The aroma is good sweet barley with some milky coffee. Has dark watery black body with little foam, it was poured too high. Mouthfeel is sweet and sweaty barley, sugary, an okay milky coffee vibe. Mouthfeel is a little heavy but is mostly full and all right. It's serviceable for the style.

Smells of good chewy hops and a nice soft malt backbone, has great foam on an excellent clear copper body. Flavour is soft malt with weak hops. There's no crispness on the mouthfeel but it's reasonably full. There are some good elements here but it's uneven.

Smells of weird vegetal hop notes, has excellent foam on a clear yellow body. Flavour is bright and clean with good hoppiness. Mouthfeel is refreshing. This is a decent blonde, simple but well executed.

Soft hops aroma, has clean enough yellow body and okay foam. Flavour is reasonably bright and clean pilsner hops and grain. Mouthfeel is crisp and smooth. It's not bad for a local pilsner, clean and somewhat sharp.

Juniper is well integrated here. Like a regular brown ale with a tiny gin feel. Pours brown with good head and lacing. Fairly well balanced. Light bitter end. Tap at brewery.
