Draught @ [ Malmö Öl & Whisky Festival 2016 ] @ Malmömässan, Mässgatan 6, Malmö, Sweden 21532. [ As West Coast Bryggeri GötePorter ].Clear dark brown color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate - vanilla. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, roasted - chocolate, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160401] 8-4-8-3-15

A few days ago at Haket, draught.Clear dark brown to black color, small tan head. Malty, roasted, clear saffron scent. Malty, caramel, sweet, chocolate, bitter, spicy, medium compared to scent saffron taste. Medium full body, medium high bitterness.

Backlog from Haket Ölfestival 2016.DraughtClear dark brown color, tan head. Mint chocolate, sweet, surprising, funny (in a good way), After Eight chocolate mint sweets scent and taste. Might be a novelty one off beer, but I really enjoyed it. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.

BacklogHazy red color, pink head. Berry and acidic, very fresh, scent and taste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, very low bitterness. At times can detect some wheat dough character which takes away some pleasure, but all in all a fresh and highly drinkable acidic beer.

Bottle from Folkölsbutiken. Dark pink/purple with a pinkish head that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma of berries, yoghurt, blackcurrant, blackberries. Slightly tart taste with berries, yoghurt and a bit of vanilla. Lightly tart finish.

Backlog, used to work for this brewery and at time reviewed the beers I tasted, now that I am no longer employed figured I can enter them.Bottled - BB 11.01.2017 - Batch 15026Hazy to cloudy deep straw yellow to pale golden color, builds up a huge white head that is fairly big bubbled.Fresh some lemon lime scent, a tad acidic, banana ester scent.Yeasty, spicy, light acidic taste. Yeasty, spicy aftertaste. Not as fresh taste as the scent was.Medium a bit fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.Fresh and very drinkable, though not too sure that acidity that comes through belongs.

Backlog, used to work for this brewery and at time reviewed the beers I tasted, now that I am no longer employed figured I can enter them.Bottled, BB 11.11.2016 - Batch 15007 Clear reddish brown color, big off-white to light tan head that lasts.Malty but not very sweet, crackers, hint of gypsum/dry wall scent.Malty, some red berries, mineral, grainy, toasted taste. Toasted, berries, light mineral aftertaste.Medium light mouthfeel, sort of low CO2 despite the big head build up, medium low bitternes.Nice balance and malt bill for the style, beautiful look to it.

Backlog, used to work for this brewery and at time reviewed the beers I tasted, now that I am no longer employed figured I can enter them.BB 08.01.2017. - Batch 15025.Clear black color with some dark brown to the bottom of the glass, builds up a medium sized light brown head that dissipates but does not dissapear.Sweet, malty, milk chocolate scent.Sweet, light roasted, malty, some minerals taste. Light roasted, a slight bit metallic aftertaste.Smooth big mouthfeel, medium to low CO2, medium low bitterness.Has the right color and nice head for an imperial stout. Smells and taste like a lightly aged stout, hides the alcohol well. Mouthfeel is a bit thick. The only thing disturbing is that slight mineral and metallic hint.

Batch 15005.Black color, dark brown head, some lacing. Roasted, chocolate, grainy, alcohol, coconut flakes, fat, malty scent. Roasted, malty, sweet, coconut flakes, alcohol, cacao, chocolate taste, burnt. Roasted, ashes aftertaste. Warming alcohol. Alcohol tingling. Smooth, rich, thick mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.
