(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 9 Sep 2016) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with orange, grain and apricots. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, citrus, grainy malt, grapefruit and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy golden, mid sized head. Doughy nose with pineapple and citrus. Sweet with medium-full body and clean, sticky mouthfeel. Syrup and dough dominates, sugar and citrus is there but drowns in sweetness. Syrupy finish with some white pepper. Way too sweet. Hops drown is syrup.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av humle, citrus, mango, apelsin med toner av ananas. Frisk och fruktig, något marmeladig och klippig, lagom sötma, fin beska. Gott och uppfriskande!

Flaska från ICA Möllan, Malmö. Fin mahognyfärg som drar åt rött, ganska lågt skum, klar. Doft och smak som typisk amerikansk red ale fast så klart tunnare och torrare. Kolaremmar, sirapslimpa och karamell fast med väldigt låg sötma, ganska snålt med humle men aningen tallskott och lätt beska. Balansen funkar och maltsmakerna sitter bra om fast de är lätta. Ok.

Flaska från ICA, Möllan. Disig smutsgulrosa färg med skum i ljusare nyans av samma färg. Doft av jäst och vete med aningen smultron i bakgrunden. Lätt veterlig, jäst, laktos, lite jordgubbssylt och i eftersmaken vanilj- och smultronglass. Kunde haft mer smultron men det är säkert ett önsketänkande. ok.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy, deep golden with a roughish white head. Aroma is slightly peachy - pleasant if a little subtle. Medium body, very soft on the palate, very fruity - again peachy and tropical - with a dry but not overly bitter finish. Gets a little chalky late. But very easygoing and pleasant. 220816
