Sample at the brewpub. Dark brown pour with a bit of amber around the edges. Medium thick and foamy off-white head that dissipates slowly, and patchy lacing. Oaky aroma with some roasted malt notes. Medium body with a subtle bourbon character and flavors of chocolate malt and coffee. The finish is dark malts and oak. Above average overall.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear orange color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, fruit and malt. Light to medium body with a crisp mouthfeel and flavors of piney hops, citrus and sweet malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and hops. Medium-bodied with a roasty character of coffee plus some chocolate malt and hops. The finish is malty with a mild coffee aftertaste. Above average overall.
