Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home while watching (nervously) game 3 of the NLDS. Appearance is a cloudy gold with a moderate and frothy white head. Aroma is nice and citrusy. Taste is pretty good, creamy for the style, goes down nice and smooth. Pretty good one.

12oz bottle. Suffering some infection. Not sure how old this is but I don’t get any real Mosaic tones. Pretty amateur beer, not horrendous, but off enough that I don’t have any interest in visiting their brewery or trying other beers from them. Grassy lemon lime tones, astringent infected unfiltered seltzer golden malt tones. Not an impressive offering, at least the bottle I had.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home after the first decent weather run of the year, sign of warmer days to come. Appearance is a moderately thick pitch black with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted chocolate, mocha, lactose, coffee, oats. Taste is deliciously smooth, chocolate and oats come through, gives off a rich flavor as well, I’m liking this one.

10oz pour at the Radler in Chicago. Aroma is light alcohol with herbal-noble hoppiness, which is bright and clean. A strong white bread maltiness. Hops and malts great in the nose, the alcohol could be a little lower. Flavor eases up on the elements in the nose. Meaning the alcohol is also reduced and a sweet white bread finish. Nice stuff, especially in a season when I have had horrid Maibocks.

Draft at Olympic. From notes. Very good with loads of citrus and a hint of resin. Would love to drink this again.

Bottle - Pine and floral nose with a malt sweetness to balance. Nose also has some strawberries, weird but cool. Clear copper with a persistent off white head. Pine and a rich malt backbone to balance. Bitterness is in check, but is long in the finish. A nice east coast IPA.
