A very one dimensional beer that worked great in a sampler but I don’t think I would want to drink a pint. ++ Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a very dark brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized foamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was cinnamon, brown sugar and icing - very much like a cinnamon bun. The flavor was strong iced cinnamon bun. Long finish. Medium body. Alcohol well contained. Tasty.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy beige head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was coffee, roasty malts and vanilla - no cherry at all on the nose. The flavor was cherry with a bitter and roasty note followed by a flavor of cheap brewed coffee and a bit of smoke. Long finish. Medium body and somewhat creamy. Disappointing.

What a great idea. Too bad they ruined it with crap hops. +++ Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a murky apricot color with a medium sized foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was strong cactus, catbox and pine. The flavor was very bitter with strong notes of cactus and catbox then pine and apricot. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied. Profoundly disappointing.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a caramel color with golden highlights and a medium sized foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was toasty, malty, woody and had light notes of pepper, yeast and golden fruits. The flavor was toasty, woody and malty with a light vague fruitiness underneath. Medium length toasty finish. Medium body. Ok.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy beige head that left exceptional lacing. The aroma was toasty malts, strong vanilla, anise and more vanilla. The flavor was toasty and somewhat bitter with a moderate amount of smoke and fairly strong vanilla. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.

The aroma was apple juice with a bit of mustiness and pepper. The flavor was apple juice and other vague fruits, was a bit off, and faint notes of must and pepper underneath. Medium length apple juice finish. Medium body. Meh.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark copper color with a large foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was faintly tangy, slightly bitter and had vague fruity hops and citric notes. The flavor was sour caramel, pine, fruity hops, citrus and was a bit dry and off. Medium length finish. A bit watery in body. Meh.
