Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy beige head that left exceptional lacing. The aroma was toasty malts, strong vanilla, anise and more vanilla. The flavor was toasty and somewhat bitter with a moderate amount of smoke and fairly strong vanilla. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a murky berry-peach color with a large foamy white head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweet with vague berries. The flavor was tangy and sweet with artificial sugar and vague berries. Long berry and artificial sugar finish. Medium body. Meh.

The flavor was yeasty with notes of coriander, sulfur, dust and lemon. The lemon grows. Medium length lemony finish. Medium body. Ok.

The flavor was bitter and tart with citrus, cactus, a bit of pine and light notes of yeast and pepper. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

The aroma was apple juice with a bit of mustiness and pepper. The flavor was apple juice and other vague fruits, was a bit off, and faint notes of must and pepper underneath. Medium length apple juice finish. Medium body. Meh.

The aroma was faintly tangy, slightly bitter and had vague fruity hops and citric notes. The flavor was sour caramel, pine, fruity hops, citrus and was a bit dry and off. Medium length finish. The flavor was buttery, sweetish, bready and a touch medicinal. Medium length buttery finish. Medium body. Not good at all.
