Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a reddish amber with a slight haze and a small off-white head. Sweet fruity and caramellish aroma. Rich body, caramel and overripe fruit with a slightly woody touch, Berryish. Some late warming alcohol. Nice one. 221012

330ml bottle. Clear dark orangey golden colour with small, frothy to creamy, white head. Aroma has a fruity malt basis, bitter hoppy overtones with a touch of orange and orange zest; with the head fading away some yeasty notes take over. Taste has decent malty undertones, an explicit yeasty touch, decent bitter hoppy finish. OK, not more.

Süßlich rauchiger Beginn. Hefig, dunkelmalzig werden, dabei röstig und vielmehr karamellig. Toffee, harzig, dunkle vollmundige Noten mit geringer Bitterkeit. Leicht bananiges Finish. Ein intensives, vielschichtiges und sehr rundes Bier – spitze! 10/13/12/12/12/12

Bottle pours yellow orange with medium pale yellow head. Faint aroma of caramel, bread and hops. Taste weak caramel, bread. Palate watery with moderate carbonation.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. MOderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Caramel notes. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

330ml bottle. Clear amber with huge creamy frothy white head. Medium intense caramel malt and grassy hop aroma. Slightly sweet unspecific fruit taste, sparkling dry and slightly sour overtone. Dry, nearly soapy and yeasty finish. Not an outstanding, but an absolutely felicitous beer.

Tasting @ Home with J&C, October 2011. Loevly copper/red color, small white head. Aroma is very nice and complex. sweet malt, cognac,vanilla, brown sugar , ripe fruit, caramel , even some chocolate. Taste is sweet malty, lots of caramel, ripe fruit and vanilla. Very interesting and much better than the other Kross beer we had on the same day.

750ml bottle. Reddish brown with thin tan head. Sweet caramel malt aroma, taste is identical. Sweetness is at the edge. Soft carbonation compared to many other Belgian strong ales, the same applies to the complete lack of yeast notes. Not that bad, though.

Tasting @ Home with J&C, October 2011. Dark golden color with a tiny white head. Moldy grass and rotten vegetable, some acidity, sweet malty. Definetly infected. Too bad because the other Kross beer we had was qutie decent.
