Pours black with a small tan head. It smells of roast malt, chocolate, and ginger. The flavor is sweet and malty with chocolate, coffee, and some gingery cookie dough that’s not very strong but is in there. Full bodied. Very good.

Pours near black with a very small tan head. It smells of roast malt, chocolate, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet and malty with chocolate, some booze, and maybe a little nuttiness but it’s pretty buried. It’s tasty but doesn’t blow me away. Interestingly this is almost 4% lower abv than some previous year’s Kilned releases.

This beer pours near black and smells of lemon meringue and roast malt. The flavor is sweet and very much of lemon meringue. The stout characteristics are almost secondary. This is dessert and it’s very good.

Pours near black with a small light tan head. It smells of strawberries most prominently but the chocolate and vanilla are in there. The flavor is very sweet. It does taste a lot like a neopolitan dessert. Strawberries, chocolate, vanilla. Tasty.

Pours near black with a small light tan head. This mostly smells like maraschino cherries. It tastes like, well, like cherry robitussin. I’ve had a few beers that tasted kind of cough syrupy, some red IPAs IIRC, but nothing that so nailed the taste like this one does. Cherry Robitussin. That’s not a “bad” flavor exactly, but it can’t be the goal, and cough syrup is not what I’m looking for in a beer

Pours near black with a small light tan head. Smells of roasted nuts and caramel. The flavor is of nuts, roast malt, and caramel. The base is said to be a dry stout though I definitely found it sweeter than their dry stout. It’s very good though.

Pours a clear deep amber with a small light tan head. It smells of pumpkin pie spices and caramel malt. The flavor is quite sweet with loads of pumpkin pie spices. It’s pretty roasty, which helps offset what would otherwise be a too sweet taste. Medium bodied.
